HURRICANE SANDY   9 comments

Some of these photos were taken the morning after the hurricane and some November 1st; some where I live, others in the surrounding area.  This is nothing compared to other parts of New Jersey and the entire East Coast (SEE HERE).  My prayers & thoughts go out to all those affected. The gas station shown in the photos is the only one open in the area and is only filling up containers, cars are not allowed.  Only a small portion of the neighboring towns have electricity.  Good riddance Sandy!!!!!

  1. The name ‘Sandy’ is too sweet for such a storm. Thinking of you and the others, sending over warmest hugs.

  2. So much destruction. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who were in the path of this horrible storm. The clean up will take a lot of patience and courage. Stay safe.

  3. Must have been Scary, Glad it’s over.

  4. Wow. Just, wow. Pleased to see, though, that the cost of gas doesn’t seem to be artificially ridiculous. A small thing, not to gouge the folks who need the gas so badly right now. Wonder where they all got those gas cans?

  5. My son was out at 4am on Friday trying to get petrol for the generator. I’m just so grateful that he and his family are safe and unharmed.

  6. So much devastation, so sad. I agree good riddance Sandy!

  9. I can’t even imagine. It’s one for the history books.

I'd love to know what you think........
