A retro ad from, and I’m guessing here, the 1940’s? Does anyone use the yellow pages anymore? Or nevermind have a radio, but one that can be fixed no less???? 😯 Ahhhhhh……the good old days!

Yes we still have and use the Yellow Pages here in South Africa. Love looking at the retro ads…. so different from today’s. 😉

I actually sell yellow pages advertising. They are used by about 39% of people of all ages. That number is dwindling quickly which is why I also do a lot of Internet advertising.

I loved the yellow pages. The app just isn’t the same. Thank goodness for Google search now or I’d be lost. 🙂
I worked as a 411 (information) operator for the phone company while I was going to college and actually had to physically look up requests from customers looking for something……HATED the yellow pages! lol I only use the internet now! 🙂
What a great ad! I wonder how long icons like that phone will be used as symbols.
